Still I believe
My power as the ultimate fan has been confirmed. Today, I went to the mall and bought a shiny new Red Sox hat. (And by 'shiny,' I mean a lovely faded blue.) In addition, I wore my Minnesota Lynx t-shirt all day long. (In fact the cute boy at the hat shop asked me what sport the Lynx played.)

What happened? Well, Curt Schilling pitched nine fucking innings and the Sox beat the Braves 6-1. And the Lynx beat the Detroit Shock, 78-70.

Oh, I sense new and strange rituals beginning.
