Proposed and accepted
J.R. and I went to see the Proposal this weekend, and I gotta say, it was pretty cute. Not earth-shattering or anything, but a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. Plus, Ryan Reynolds has grown into a surprisingly hot young man (hello, EW cover!), and Sandy Bullock can fill up my screen any day.

The next day, we were talking with the kids about what they were going to do over the summer (Max read a history book, Sam work on her spelling, etc.), and I realized I wanted a summer project, too. So I'm going to read (or re-read, as the case may be) all of Jane Austen's novels. Because they're totally classics, but also chick lit. And when I finish my project, I get to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. An appropriate ending, no?
