WOW, What can I say! I've been waiting 20 years to meet this man and he most certainly did not dissapoint.
He was pleasant and courteous, and it was a pleasure to talk to him. The first time I spoke to Michael I bought a pic and also got him to sign a collage I made, the lady who was helping him commented on the fact it was an old pic that I'd used in the collage and then she mentioned one of the other pics in the collage and said that Michael looked different because he had some facial hair growth, I thought he looked different too and Michael made a comment about not shaving. After signing the pics I asked Michael if I could take a pic of him with my sons and I made a point of shaking his hand as I thanked him afterwards. Later on, must have been a few hours or so, I noticed that Michael didn't have any people waiting so I walked up to the front of the table intending to buy another pic and he looked up and said "Hello Wendy", well talk about speechless, this was a little unexpected. | which he replied that he had a photographic memory. He asked me who I wanted this pic signed to, well just I had to have it signed to me too, didn't I :) I then told him that I had made my hubby drive me all the way up there from Weston-Super-Mare just so I could meet him. He then wrote on the pic "glad you made the trip from Weston-Super-Mare I hope it was worth it". Well that simple "Hello Wendy" more than made that trip worth it, Thank You Michael. | ||
