Handprints On Mirror
I used to live in a house in Peel Road, Kuala Lumpur. Now, the place has been demolished for a new shopping complex to be build there. Anyway, my story was when I was about seven years old, year 1991 I guess. I was living in the house where my family(me, father and mother) shared one room while my uncle's family used the other rooms. We've got this furniture in our room. It's a table with a big mirror on it, about 3 times the size of your moniter screen.
There was a certain time of the year where we would wake up to find handprints on the mirror. My mom asked me if I did it and of course, I did not. She did not believe me so she took my hand to measure with the one on the mirror. Obviously, the handprint on the mirror was too big to be mine so we could not find anyone who did that handprints on the mirror. Anyway, my mom cleaned the mirror but the handprints continue to appear for the next day. We were really afraid by then, especially my mom.
Later, my mum consulted her dad(my grandfather) to seek some advice as he was experience in this kind of weird stuff. He gave my mum a "fu" or a cloth with chinese writings on it. He told her to frame it and hang it on top of the door. She did as she was told and the handprints did not appear anymore since then.

Midnight Movies
My mother told me this story. When she was a little kid, she and her siblings always go out to watch the opera shows performed during the Hungry Ghost Festival. There were a lot of people who like to watch the shows performed and my mum would go to see the opera show every night.
The strange thing is, there would be not a single person to watch the show after midnights but the show will still go on. My mother wondered why they are so stupid to perform the opera show when there's not even a single person watching. When she asked my grandmother about it, my grandmother told her that the shows after midnight are not performed for us to see but they are performed for the ghosts to see.
The same thing goes to the cinemas when there would be no one to watch midnight movies except ghosts. They said that they performed the shows for the ghosts to see are to respect and honour the spirits of the dead.
The strange thing is, there would be not a single person to watch the show after midnights but the show will still go on. Hotel Horror
There was once my dad was assigned to travel away for business with two other colleagues. They stayed in a hotel in the same room. During that night, all three of them slept on one bed. My dad slept on the side while his colleague slept on the other side, and another colleague in the center between my dad and another colleague.
Nothing unusual happened when they slept. The next morning, they woke up and found that the person who slept in the middle was missing but my dad and his one colleague was still on the bed like they were last night. They then found their friend who was still asleep under the bed! When asked, he also did not know how he could end up sleeping under the bed for it is not logical for him to roll out of bed because he would had knocked my dad or his other colleague. They were quite suprised by that incident.
Anyway, my dad told his colleagues to go for their breakfast downstairs first for my dad still wanted to take a nap for a little longer. After about five or ten minutes, my father who was on bed felt someone sitting on the bed, like, part of the bed sunk a bit as if someone sat on it with the creaking sound of the matress. "Came back so soon?" my dad said, thinking that his colleagues were back frome their breakfast so fast. There was a period of silence, then my dad turned to look why his colleagues did not reply him. To his amazement, there was nobody on bed except him alone in the room!
My dad quickly got up, wore his slippers, and dash downstairs to find their friends.

Old School Toilet
This is a strange story that I heard from my school friends when I was just a little boy. Me and my friends were having our school break in the canteen when my friend suddenly brought up the topic about ghosts. He said that our school toilet, SRK Jalan Pasar 1, in Pudu, was haunted. He was using the toilet when he saw the shadow of a fan turning on the floor. He continued to do his business when he finally finishes and went to the sink to wash his hands, he saw that there was no fan in the toilet! He can still see the shadow of the fan turning on the floor and ceilling. He then quickly returned to his classroom.
Few weeks later, another strange case was reported. It was said that a school girl who was using the toilet suddenly found her little finger turned by itself! She cried in pain as her finger turned 360 degrees around! A few of her friends rushed her to the school office and medical treatment was given. Till now, students would not go to the toilet alone unless they do not know the strange things which had happened.

Haunted Office
My father's office was said to be haunted by a ghost. Long time ago before my father's ofice was built, there used to be an old appartment. There was a pregnant woman who commited suicide from the building on the 6th floor (I can't really remember). Then the old appartment was demolished and my father's office was built on the same spot. The security guard of the office building would sometimes check on the building or otherwise, just sit down on the counter where the main door is.
It was this fateful night when the security guard was checking the building. He was about to finish and was taking the lift down to the ground floor. The lift suddenly stopped and he heard cries of a woman outside of the lift. He couldn't think of who it was to stay up late and why was she crying. The lift opened and there was total darkness on that floor. He could still hear the sound of the woman crying and he stepped out of the lift to see who it was. He shone his torchlight and found a ldy dressed in white standing at a corner with her head facing the floor. The guard called her but she seems to be not listening. Not long after that, the lady jumped towards the wall and disappeared!
The guard was numb, quickly get back into the lift, and went down to the ground floor to tell his partner what he saw just now. His partner, who once lived in the appartment before told him about the woman who commited suicide which was related to what he just saw.
