Vulvar Vestibulitis/Vulvodynia Study at John Hopkins University
Volunteers are needed to participate in a study concerning changes in pain perception. You do NOT need to live in the area to participate. Correspondance will take place via phone or mail.
Appropriate candidates will be between the ages of 18-45, menstruating, not pregnant and diagnosed with either vulvar vestibulitis or essential vulvodynia for at least six months.IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ON BIRTH CONTROL MEDICATION, YOU ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED.They are also looking for volunteers to be part of the control group which will consist of women who don't suffer from chronic vulvar pain.
