Isaac and Michelle....Sitting in a tree?
"How'd I ever let you talk me into this?" Michelle says to me. I can't help but smile. She shifts around, and then settles down. "Look," I start, "Just jump and I'll catch you. I swear!" She looks down on me from the limb. "It looks a lot higher then it is, doesn't it?" she asks. I laugh, and nod. She returns my laughter with her own. She's got a beautiful smile. She closes her eyes. "I'm gonna jump....one....two.....three!" she says, and she launches into my arms. I catch her, and look deeply into her eyes. "Isaac." she says, almost in a whisper, and we let ourselves connect. Her pale pink lips are soft against mine. Her hand touches my face, and goosebumps develop all down my spine. She moves her fingers along my neck, through my hair...The feeling can only be described as pure magic.
When we break apart, she's got the most beautiful glow to her. The street-lights behind me are lighting her eyes just perfectly... she stares at the ground. This is the weirdest feeling I've ever experianced. I'm totally lightheaded. This girl is so amazing, I want to hold her in my arms forever. I can't stand not touching her, so I take her into my arms, and just hold her.
"Well I heard about the fella you've been dancin' with...." Taylor sings. Somewhere out there in that sea of screaming girls, I know that Michelle is singing and clapping. It's incredibly hard to pay attention to the guita when I can't get her eyes out of my mind. Also with the ever illusive fact that I have to leave soon, my mind is swimming with questions. Remembering that this is Michelle's first Hanson concert I get it together and play the best I ever have, just for her. "Oh...my god" I think as we run offstage, "I think I'm in love."
