Zac-"I've never kissed you..."

Lizzy and I have been splashing around in the water for about an hour and a half now, and she's never looked so beautiful.

At the moment I'm thinking that, she comes up and jumps on me, attempting to dunk me. "Ha Ha HA!" I yell. "My brute strength is too much for you to handle!"

She laughs hysterically and I grab her and chuck her into the deeper end of the pool. "Aaah!" she screeches and she hits the water with a splash. She swims from her landing spot over to where I'm standing, and grabs my calf.

I scream, as she comes up for a breath. We stand, for a moment, silently.

"Liz?" I say to her, taking her hand, "I just realized something."

She cocks her head to one side, "What?"

"I just realized that I've never kissed you."

She stands there, looking down at our hands in the water. "No." She finally says, "I guess you haven't."

I look at her, she is nervously biting her lip. "Well...?" she asks me, "Where you planning on changing that, or just bringing it up?"

I let a giggle escape my throat, and then I sigh. I don't have the guts to do it. "No...I was just gonna stand here." I say, attempting to be humourous, "But now that you mention it....I'm gonna do THIS!!!" I scream, and I pick her up and dunk her.

We both come up laughing, and choking for water. "Zac!" she says, "If you aren't gonna do it, than I will."

She pulls me close, and presses her lips against mine. When this ends shortly after it began, we again stand and stare at each other. It's strange how I never get awkward around her.

"So......um.....now....are we....y'know?" I stutter, trying to get my tongue back into speaking mode, but am unsuccesful.

She just smiles at me, and then goes back underwater. Oh well, If you can't beat em...
