Alone Again

A great tree watches over me
I collect my thoughts,
Feel my emotions
Wonder at life

I am lonely
I found something I didn't know was missing
now it's gone again.
Gone for only a brief span
    Compared to the life of a star,
    or even the age of this tree
but it is everything to me.
Even one moment is too much
I feel empty,
when all I can do is remember.

           Life will go on.
I WILL endure.
           The pain WILL end.
I can do it for her,
I WILL do it for her.

As I sit here
I hear no angel voice,
but I imagine her face
She smiles,
and disappears again.
I'm Alone...		again.
