ABOUT ME

I have a son who is 11 years old (this picture is a few years old). Alexander is the light of my life and also the biggest bundle of energy, attitude and mischief!!!

I am originally from Italy and grew up in Rome. I have some very special pictures of Rome.

In August 2002 I began a 2 month world trip with my son, the main attraction of course being the resolution of a lifelong dream to take my child to DisneyWorld in Florida and Rome, Italy, to meet family and where I was born. The trip was fantastic, with memories and meeting much loved and treasured friends who will last a lifetime. (sorry, not too sure what happened to the holiday pages!)

My family moved to Australia in 1971. I had no choice of course but my parents could not have picked a better place! After living in Adelaide for several years, we moved up to beautiful Brisbane. The winters here are very mild and the summers are balmy and subtropical. Leisure time is usually spent outdoors, in our pool, at a park or at the beach. I love this country I call home and here are some images of Australia to prove my point.

I have come across some wonderful people, some I have met and some who I will one day hope to meet. Some of my friends share my love for TIM TAMS *wink*

Coming along now and on a roll, I've decided to show you my artistic talent. Ok!! So I'm not Picasso or Monet...!!!

I have included a wonderful story called SHMILY. And before you ask, NO it is not about my grandparents *L*. It's a beautiful love story someone forwarded to me one day. I think it's the kind of love and devotion we all seek to experience.

One of my quiet hobbies is collecting postcards from all over the world. I am truly blessed by the amount of friends and family who in their travels will take time to send me a very much appreciated postcard. I like to think that I have been at every place on each postcard, and why, you ask? Because I was obviously thought of while they were there!! So I share these beautiful places with you.

My sister and I decided to go away for a weekend in November 2000 and we chose to fly to Melbourne, hire a car and just drive ..somewhere. Here is proof that we were there...

This next is our latest weekend away on June 12, 13 and 14. Horse riding among the aussie scrub and bush is truly delightful. Have a look and see all the pics!!
