It's been a long time since I called in here to update this...sorry...you know how these things go...Anna.
Psalm of the Week - Psalm 1
Current Prayer Requests
- for the gregorys - especially susan as she struggles to support her husband through a time of deep depression, and maintain her family and work commitments, that she might find the strength and wisdom that she needs.
- for the herd, in a time of great learning and growth which brings its own grief and struggles
- for ruth and her daughter, who is facing a difficult situation with her current partner
- for Herb and Barbara Owens - sept. 18, 1998 lost both daughters and all 3 grandchildren in a traffic accident with 18 wheeler. now they are pulled down with 14,000 funeral expensives, medical and etc monies owed. Dealing with the death of their whole family is enough without compounding with money debts.
- for a greater bond of love between survivors, that we can support one another and work together towards healing, peace, and a full life.
- pray for an increase in hope, for God's hand to touch this hurting world, and to strengthen it...

I chose this song because I had almost forgotten it - yet it is one of the most beautiful old hymns of praise that I know - I love it's imagery and it brings the beauty of Christ into focus for me in a special way.
