MAUNA KEA METEOROLOGY

This web page is designed to provide a quick (wiki-wiki), at-a-glance look at the most important weather information available on the web (especially images) for the purpose of enabling close monitoring of prevailing and predicted weather patterns as they apply to the summit of Mauna Kea.

To use most effectively, resize browser window to view the 4 x 4 grid of images. The rows are basically in order of usefulness and importance.

Reload the page periodically to get the latest images.

Select on any image to get full-size in order to view details not readily apparent on the thumbnails.

The advantage of this type of display page is that once the thumbnail images have been loaded, there is no delay in viewing any of the images at full size resolution as the images are in the browser's cached memory

CAVEAT: This page will load very slow if used via a modem hookup from a home PC.
This page was designed for use on a full-speed networked workstation.
