WOW!! Where do I start! Let me see, well, Justina and I just moved up to the Seattle Area!!!! Thats right, we are now, finally, HOME!!!! We live in Bothell and Justina will be working at Juanita High School in the Lake Washington School District.
I will most likely be subbing in the same district and also be teaching Drivers ED after school. I may even see if I can work for the Sonics again, but who knows. We are both very impressed with Justina's new school district. She gets a lab-top computer for her classroom with means that I can play on mine while she does her school work on her lab-top. They also have a pretty intense new teacher training program which is paid and four extra paid days for all of the teachers at her school to prepare for the year. It will definately be a nice district to work for.
Aside from the moving excitement we havent been up to much. My sister Erica came to visit us from San Antonio and I am looking forward to my first Mariners games in the new stadium. I also will enjoy the rest of my summer and of course continue to look for History jobs. However, to better prepare myself for next years job search, I will be taking some English classes which will allow me to teach both English and History for the 2000-2001 school year.
