Vlad. He's strong. He's Nordic. He's about 6'5". Vlad is a bouncer at Blockbuster video store. But on the side, He's a fighter of the GCMC. As a fighter of the GCMC , He knows Ebon Flow. His main attack (with the help of Leroy) is Armadillo Bowling. But he knows lots of others. He lives in mountainous western Eurasia with Leroy, Majorine, and soon others (Chinese Place Stu, etc). He's got a tattoo of the formula used to solve a quadratic equation under his right arm. As of Chapter 3 he's hairless. He's older than most of the characters. Vlad almost worked for the GCMC as a night janitor but his fear of butter kept him from accepting the job. Leslie (Majorine's siter) is in love with him but she died.

Vlad is killed by Shadow and Shadow's girlfriend Maggott, who are in a group intent to kill the hairless. Leslie comes back to life, in an attempt to avenge Vlad's death. Eventually,Vlad comes back to life and stops Leslie's pursuit of the Shadow Walkers. Vlad grows his hair to come to terms with the Shadow Walkers.
