I first want to say good luck with your wedding! As for the cat naming contest, I had a lot of names come to mind, but the one that sticks seems to be Samson. i don't know if you'll like it, but I think it has character. My partner and my have a cat names Stewart. He is the best thing that has happened to us! Good Luck with everything!

I agree; the name 'Samson' has a feeling of real strength, and "he" really projects a sense of inner strength and I think "he" has been a real fighter
(not with other cats, just with the hand that fate has thrown at him thus far in life).
Andre kind of likes this name too, but since I said the competition will go on until the 15th April, we'll have to wait and see what everyone else comes up with too...

A name that I really like is Simon. Just say the name, doesn't it have a nice ring? If you don't like the way it sounds, say it with a British accent, it sounds even better ;-).
Seriously though, I really love the name and its ring. If you've ever read "Lord of the Flies," Simon is the name of the character in there that represents good in the world. In the Bible, one of Jesus' Apostles was named Simon.
Also, if you're into music, Simon Le Bon is the lead singer of Duran Duran and Simon Gallup is the guitarist for The Cure...
Anyway, that's my two cents. There are many wonderful names out there, the important thing I think is that you are giving this cat love and a home and I gaurentee that he will return that love an hundredfold. Good luck!
