Pam's Place Easter Crafts Directions

Rolly Polly Egg

Have Fun and Good Luck !

Flatten The Bottom
Flatten The Bottom
For this project, you will need a large plastic egg. If you can find one, the L'eggs brand panty hose egg works well. If you can't you can buy any large plastic eggs from the craft store. Cover the shorter rounded end with a small square of aluminum foil.
ADULTS ONLY:
Preheat the iron on a medium-high setting and then press the hot iron against the aluminum foil until the end is slightly flattened. This works best if you take the egg apart so that you're only working with the bottom half.
Weight Down The Bottom

Glue several coins or washers inside the flattened end. You'll have to experiment with the placement until you get it right. It should tip over if you push it and then right itself. Glue the jingle bell to the top of the weights if you like (optional). Put the egg back together. You can glue it together if you like.

Use felt, permanent markers or paint to decorate your eggs. You can also glue on yarn hair.

Hope you liked it.
