PURPOSE

The Hightstown High School Athletic Hall of Fame was established to annually recognize and honor those student athletes and other members of the community whose athletic accomplishments and contributions have been of the highest caliber and brought credit to the school.

 PROGRAM

Participation in any of the athletic programs offered at the school is required to be considered for the Hall of Fame. Each year, a selection committee will accept nominations of candidates to be considered for the Hall of Fame. The public may feel free to nominate any worthy candidate by the nomination deadline of April 1. Nominees will be notified of their selection by June 1. An award ceremony will be held in October for the formal induction of the nominees into the Hightstown Hall of Fame.

 CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

Eligibility begins the fifth year after the nominee's class graduates from Hightstown, or when a coach or member of the school community retires. Once nominated, an individual remains eligible for annual consideration.

Selection will be based on the individual's athletic accomplishments while attending Hightstown High School.

The nominee should have been a letter winner in the sport(s) for which he/she is being considered.

For coaches and other school community members, admission to the Hall of Fame will be based on the individuals contribution, dedication and support, or improvement to the athletic programs and environment at Hightstown.
