The US Junior team is currently made up of 18, junior athletes that are appointed for a term of one year. By being a member of the team, individuals receive an opportunity to go to the US Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs, CO. They also earn the right to score points for their country at the Jr. World tournament held in December. In the past the team has also traveled to other countries to promote, and help the sport of racquetball grow. The team in the past has traveled to Amsterdam, Ireland, Canada, and Guatemala. However, the last few years the team has not traveled anywhere, and a team trip is not planned for this year's team.

It is safe to say the Junior USA Team has dominated the World Championships, winning the last nine years. The team's toughest competition has come from the Mexican and Canadian teams.
