through saliva when grooming, as they do by urinating!
Relative to the cat's body size, their eyes are the largest of all mammals.
The eyes of the cat are super efficient. They have a large retina which
reflects large amounts of light - assisting in their super night time vision.
That is the reason cat's eyes glow when caught in torch light.
Sets of opposing optical muscles, act to open and close the pupils to adjust
the amount of light entering the eye. On sunny days the pupils are merely slits,
where as on dark nights, the pupil is round as a penny.
