1. How long have you been dj-ing for?

Got my decks on my 21st Birthday...3 Years.

> 2. What inspired you to become a dj?

>The idea of Scratching and the love of hip-hop music. I just had to try it!

> 3. What was the first comp you entered?

>First Dj Competition I entered was the Just to get a Rep Battle at Cargo Club in Janurary of 98.

> 4. How many comps have you entered?

> I have entered Just to get a rep, Selectors, Dmc 99 and 2000 and Itf elim and final 99.

> 5. Do you play at any clubs?

>Yes, resident at Republik at Cargo Club on 3rd Friday of the Month. Guest spots everywhere!!

> 6. What styles of music do you play?

>Mainly Underground hip-hop with a focus on turntablism. Tend to incorperate juggling and scratching in all my sets. I also play old-skool breaks and funk tunes whereever and whenever i can.

> 7. Are you in a band and/or dj crew?

>I am involved with a few crews/bands. Social Change, False Estate, Myself and Kim Dezen do 3 or 4 deck sets when we can, am looking to Dj for After hours and Hilltop hoods on there interstate shows.

> 8. What was your first set-up?

>An Akai Turntable with pitch control was the first deck i try'd scratching on. Then one 1200 with a Numark 1000x mixer that i used to scratch over Cd's.

> 9. What is your current set-up?

>I am in the process of buying the new Vestax pdx2000 turntables but I have two 1200's at the moment. I use a Vestax 05pro limited edition mixer with the new pcv faders. Shure m-447 Carts and Sennheiser Headphones.

> 10. What is your favourite record?

> Tough one....ummmm. I'm really feelin the UK hiphop at the moment over the US stuff, but I'd have to say Jurassic 5's new album. Fav of all time is Stetsasonic's Talkin all that Jazz.

> 11. What is your favourite technique on turntables?

> Fast, technical scratching, I love the flare scratch sound. Mad funky breakdown style swing juggles.

> 12. Who is your favourite dj?

> Mixmaster Mike for sheer Talent and Noise for clean funky styles.

> 13. Invisibl Skratch Piklz, Beat Junkies, X-ecutioners or Skratch Perverts?

>Pikles....nobody compares to their dedication to advancing the artform.

> 14. Where do you see turntablism in the next couple of years?

>I really see it taking off as it becomes more commercial and popular. Lots of bands are incorperating the Scratch sounds now. Everyone wants to be a DJ.

> 15. Any tips?

>Practice, Practice, Practice and then.........Practice.

> 16. If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be?

>Anna Kournikova.....sweet sweet candy!!

> 17. Any shout outs?

> Peace out to Kim Dezen, Social Change boyz, Simplex and After Hours, BVA, Debris and Hilltop's, Jim and False Estate, Reason, Kuya, Certified Wise, Flak, and anyone making hiphop music and putting a postive attitude towards the Scene.
