Some book sellers will tell you the red  dust jacket  

is the true First Edition, 

In truth  they are both first's,  Secker printed fewer of the red dust jacket making it the more desirable of the two.

The red jacket is very prone to fading to a 'salmon pink' 

Watch out for the 'Book of The Month' wrap around band which is extremely  rare.
