so, i am about to boldly throw my life out on the world-wide-web. seems to me most people already have, so how bold it is may be questionable. i will start this in english, but sometimes there will be sections written in other languages. i will help anyone with translations, just let me know.

i have bought an icelandic sweater today, cause i figure one must. its very nice. this webpage construction business is really a lot more complicated than i thought. but then again, it all depends on how difficult one wants to keep the coding. writing these small messages on the web is a weird feeling, and i have to say that i do not know if i will keep it up. we will see.

well, today i am going to send some people the url, so now it is no longer a secret that i have endeavoured on this mission of bringing ice to the people. sorry about the slow server, but there is not a whole lot i can do about that. please remeber that i am learning...

i am not sure how long i will keep writing in english, i suppose it all depends on how interested people really are. but we will see.

today, dear friends, must surely go down as a landmark in the history of mankind. yours truly has managed to put, no less than 17 beautiful pictures in the photoalbum so just go there after you have finished this.

that is now, cos i have to go to work.

I am building and building. no time to write and tell you what is going on. xisco is leaving rvk tomorrow. too bad, he is a good man. and a good friend. I will miss him. apart from that nothing much has happened. it was a very hectic weekend, work + partying is difficult in this town = overslept for work on sunday. three hours...

now I have to run even though xisco operates on spanish time, I am still late for our meeting. bye bye.

hello friends. today I have edited the photoalbum and I have also borrowed some stuff on the web. the page is coming on fine don't you think? now I have to run to work, but check out the pictures again, cos I have made some changes. (will finish that tomorrow).

well, hello again. today i got an e-mail from my mother pointing out that i have not updated my diary for a long time. true. you see, i discovered that the entries i made were very uninteresting, or at least slightly so. i have been thinking of replacing the diary link with a section on written art such as short-stories, poetry or songs. i mean, you cannot really call it a diary when the entries are made on a monthly basis, can you?

i will however write a few things while i am at it... working in svarta kaffið is getting more and more uninteresting. luckily there is erwann, my french compadre, and a new player: hildigunnur. a very nice girl who out of the blue showed up asking for a job at our modest establishment. icelandic and funny, she is a ray of light in the gloomy café. i will however not work much longer, i feel that i have already done all the café work a man can be expected to do in one life-time. the first of july is my last day.

july is approaching fast. i am not sure how i will spend it though. what i do know is that from the first of july, i no longer have a room at hátún 9, since i thought it unecessary. i mean, my plan is to travel for the whole month, and i dont think they will let me take my room with me.

i would like to take the opportunity of thanking all my friends who have come to visit me, and all those who are on their way. well, actually, teres is the only one that so far has chosen to cross the ocean, but hey, it is not to late. yet. anyway, we will travel around this island for about a week in the middle of july, and if you others are nice, maybe we will let you see the photos...

do you think this is enough for one entry mamma?
