DESCENDANTS OF JEROME HAM Generation No. 1 1. JEROME1 HAM was born Abt. 1577 in Bristol, Endland, and died 1659 in York, VA. He married (1) ELIZABETH ROWLAND OLIVER February 18, 1598/99 in Bristol, England. He married (2) SYBILLA CAYNHOO, daughter of Rev. William and Dorothy Caynhoo3 Bef. 1648 in York, VA. Notes for ELIZABETH ROWLAND OLIVER: "Her will has been published in VA Gleanings in England. She was married first to a man named Oliver and listed her children and grandchildren in her will. She gave her husband Jerome L10 per year. No children for Jerome and Elizabeth. Is has been speculated that she was older than he."3 per Betty Silfies Notes for SYBYLLA CAYNHOO/CAINHOE: per Betty Silfies: "Sybilla has been well documented because she married three prominent men of which Jerome was the least. Through her marriage to Matthew Hubbard, then William Aylett, she became the ancestress to some of the prominent people of early VA.
