Born in Gregory, South Dakota sometime in 1936. Grew up and got old before I knew what happened. Time flies when you are having fun.
Vonnie, my lovely spouse, tries to keep me out of trouble most of the time. My sons, Don and Lee are in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Don't do this much any more. Worked at AT&T for 35 years and am now enjoying retirement. It seems that retirement is a full time job.
1. Playing guitar and singing at jams and shows.
2. Sports cars, Street Rods, and Old Trucks.
3. Building and flying Radio Control model aircraft.
4. PC computing. I know just enough to be dangerous.
6. Showing our cars at car shows, Vonnie and I both enjoy this.
7. Now you can see why retirement is a full time job.
Country Music. Waylon, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, George Jones, etc.. Apple pie with ice cream. BBQ ribs. Taters and meat. Corn on the cob. Puppy dogs. Baby animals of all kinds. Motor cycles. Smelling leather. Smelling gasoline. Smelling burnt methanol, and just plain smelling. Green grass. Springtime. Friendly folks. Technical stuff. Mechanical stuff. Electronic stuff. and quite a bit of other stuff.
Pot Pies. Hamburger Helper. Tater Tots. Pushy folks. Grouchy folks. Unfriendly folks. Bossy folks. Just plain mean folks, and most other folks. Things that don't go like they are supposed to. Standing in line. Getting titles to vehicles transferred and buying license plates in Iowa. Paying property tax. Paying any kind of tax.
Can't think of much else, other than to say this about getting older: "There are no re-runs on TV any more". (I may watch a movie two thirds of the way through before it dawns on me that I have already seen it.)
