Easter Lake Baptist Church is located in Des Moines, Iowa. Our church began as a mission project of the First Baptist Church of Raytown, Missouri. Just as the church of Raytown has helped us, we desire to be a help to the city of Des Moines. Our mission is to worship Jesus Christ and to help Christians grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ. Easter Lake Baptist Church is a place where our church family has regular encounters with the Living God! Pastor Aubrey Cochran is a graduate of New Orleans Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has pastored Easter Lake Baptist Church since its beginning many years ago.
He and his family have worked diligently serving the Lord and count it as joy
knowing that God is in control. He has a Godly and loving wife, Julie, who is
active in working with the children and leading our newly formed women's Bible study.
They have four children: John, Josh, Bethany, and Joel.
