My Angel Poems

On this page I would like to share with you some poems that I have collected. I have been lucky enough to be among many people on line that have friends that send me all kinds of good stuff. These people are my Angels. And so I call this my Angel Poems. I have encluded a link below to another page of poems that I have called "Aileen's Sharing Place". Enough happiness to keep you sweet
Enough trials to keep you strong
Enough sorrow to keep you human
Enough hope to keep you happy
Enough failure to keep you humble
Enough success to keep you eager
Enough friends to give you comfort
Enough wealth to meet your needs
Enough enthusiasm to look forward
Enough faith to banish depression
Enough determination to make each day better than yesterday

Smiles

If at times you feel you want to cry
And life seems such a trial
Above the clouds there's a bright blue sky
So make your tears a smile
As you travel on life's way
With its many ups and downs
Remember its quite true to say
One smile is worth a dozens frowns
Among the worlds expensive things
A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep
Happiness comes at times to all
But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall
Among the laughter hidden
So when friends have sadness on their face
And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place
And all because you smiled...

IN MY LIFETIME

In my lifetime,
I hope to develop,
Arms that are strong,
Hands that are gentle,
Ears that will listen,
Eyes that are kind,
A mind full of wisdom,
A heart that understands,
A tongue that will speak softly.

Hurt
If someone should hurt you
and say a thing unkind,
Remember what I write to you,
and keep those thoughts in mind.
For everyone that makes you cry,
there are three to make you smile,
And a smile will last for a long, long time,
but a tear just a little while.
Don't let someone who hates the world
cause you to hate it too,
Behind the clouds is a Golden sun,
and a sky that's full of Blue.
If someone said a thing that's cruel,
don't let it get to you,
Your achievements are greatly numbered,
and your faults are very few.
So if a certain person should act a certain way,
Think of those who Love You.
And Don't let it spoil your day!
