I was abandoned in the woods and raised by a very open-minded family of forest mice. As soon as I was old enough, I had to start earning my own keep. Rats eat a lot more than mice, you know! I tried out all the plants to see if they were good to eat. Some were, but others made me sick. I wanted to find out more, and learned to do experiments. Now I know all about the forest plants and also some field plants.
