Nick: Epiloge

“Nick, why do you have to go?”

“Angel, let’s not do this. We both know I have to leave even though I don’t want to.”

“I know. I’m just going to miss you.”

“I’m going to miss you and Jen. I don’t know how I’m going to survive 3 months without seeing her.” Carly looked up at him. “Oh you too.” He laughed. “Angel, I was trying to lighten the mood.”

“I know. I just didn’t think it would be this hard to say goodbye.”

“It’s not goodbye. It’s I’ll see you later. But we’re not even going to do that now. We’re going to do that tomorrow.”

“Ok. Speaking of tomorrow we better be heading back. It’s going to be an early morning.”

“Yup.” They rode to Carly’s house in silence. When they got there, Carly noticed there were a lot of cars there. “What’s going on here? If Joey had a party with my daughter in the house I’m going to kill him.”

“Angel, don’t jump to conclusions. Let’s just go inside and see what’s going on.” They got out and walked into the house. Carly stopped dead in her tracks when she saw who was sitting in the living room. There was Joey and Vanessa, Chris and Dani, JC, Lance, Justin and BJ, AJ and Amanda, Kevin and Erica, Howie, and Brian. Nick walked around in front of Carly. “Angel, I have something special I want to ask you.” He got down on his knee and pulled a velvet box out of his pocket. “Angel, I love you with everything in me. I know I’ve made some mistakes in the past, but I’ve changed. I’m completely dedicated to you and Jen. Will you do the me the honor of becoming my wife?”

“Everyone…”

“I invited them. I wanted everyone to see this and be apart of it.”

“Oh, Nick. I love you!” She leaned down to his level and kissed him.

“Is that a yes?” Nick asked with a smile on his face.

Carly laughed. “Yes, Nick. I would love to be your wife.” Nick hugged her and everyone started to come up and congratulate them. Carly looked around her and saw what she had been wishing for for so long. Everyone was friends.
