Rand has risen to power through his magic but has for the past several years been learning from the best in all forms of weapons. He was a resident of Rhydin before but choosing to leave to see some more of the world. He is now back and has changed a lot. Gone is the boy who left with wide eyed innocence. In his stead is a steely eyed man that is as hard as nails, with more wisdom of the world than some care to ever have, and he is only 25.
