The Des Moines Mullet Hunters

The Des Moines Mullet Hunters is a 17-18 year old roller hockey team from Des Moines, Iowa. They also play adult sometimes. For those of you who don't know what a mullet is, its when you have long hair in back, and short on top. Just look at Thomkins the Mullet. He is displaying a camaro mullet. They are displaying their tally marks, showing how many goals they scored over the tournament. Front row - goalie Justin Sturtz, Tyson Hood, Gared Schneberger, Justin Allan, Chad McIlhon, David Bennett, and Johnny Wilson of the second place Homey Chiefs. Back row - Andy Wilson (Homey Chiefs for this tournament), Doug Wilson (Homey Chiefs yet proud supporter of the Mullet Hunters), and Eric Wilson (coached the Mullet Hunters, played for the Homey Chiefs).

Here is a picture of our good friend, Dennis Mullet at the WHA National Tournament in St. Louis last summer. Here he is congratulating Mullet Hunters Andy, Eric, and T.J. after they beat the Connecticut Grizzlies in the championship game.
