Hello everybody. My
name is Aida and I am from a small place in the heart of Balkan called, Albania!
Now I live in Florida, US, and I love it a lot, although I miss Albania (after all who
never missed home). I love angels and I had, still have, thousands of angel pictures saved
in my computer, so I thought to put them all together into my homepage. I started this
homepage in March'99, but I hardly have any time to update it, although I try. In
the beginning this page was designed to contain angel pictures only, but because my
country has a special place in my heart, I decided to dedicate a part of this page to
Albania. The pictures are taken from other web sites, and I hope in the future this
home page will be in Albanian language also. Thank you for visiting the Albanian-Angel

 I came to America in 1997, of course because of my
accent everyone could tell that I was not born here, so I would often get asked of where I was from...? "Albania," I would answer, and I would notice that almost no one knew where Albania was. Or the funniest situations were when I would be talking to some people that don't want to ever admit that they don't know something, and as soon as I would answer, Albania, they would say, "Oh, yes Albania. It's in Africa right?" I don't blame them, Albania is very small, and it was not until the situations in Kosova that many Americans first heard about my birthplace. |

| I decided to dedicate this part of my homepage to Albania, and this is for those people that are interested in knowing more about such a little place. So if you are visiting my page don't forget to stop by and read something about the place where a big part of me belongs. |
| Sebastian is my dog, he is very sweet. He is the first one running at the door to greet me when I enter the house, and he is the last one to turn the back and walk away when I leave. He loves everyone, he is the baby of the house, and we all love him very very much. Bastian is my baby because he was given to me for my birthday (2000), in fact my sister "wraps" him up as a new gift every birthday and every Christmas, and every year I get an old-new-sweet gift called Sebastian. I never owned a dog before, only cats, and having him is so wonderful, he has touched my heart. I read an article a few time ago on how much smarter some dogs are then others, and Lhasa Apsos (Sebastian's breed) was somewhere at the end of the list :o). I laughed a lot but it didn't upset me at all, like I said Sebastian is the first dog I have had and he might not be a golden retreiver but he is ONE OF A KIND, and to me he is very smart. I love him very much. |
| "The Little Mermaid" is one of my favorite Disney Movies, although it is hard to choose among them because they are all just perfect. In this corner you can also read the story of "The Little Mermaid" as told by Hans Christian Andersen, which is very touching and beautiful. |
| LOVE... what can I say, so many have written about it, so many dream to write about it, so many wish they could write about it, and so many will write about it. The quotes that I have collected are written from different people, known and unknown, and have many different views of love starting from heartbreaking views to funny-realisitic ones, like the one from Johann Wolfgang von Goete: "Love is an ideal thing: Marriage is a real thing. A confusion of the real with the ideal never goes unpunished." :o) I guess we should all keep that in mind, or should we not? Either way love is what these quotes express and much more. |
