Welcome to Idaho City Police Department's website. Idaho City is located approximately 38 miles northeast of Boise, Idaho in the mountains of the Boise Basin.

City Hall located on Main Street was originally the schoolhouse. Built in 1891 and used as a school until 1964 when the present school was built just a block away. The schoolhouse was renovated in 1986 and is currently used as City Hall.
