Ufology

As I’m sure you are all aware, UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, and this encompasses many things. A UFO does not automatically indicate Extra-Terrestrial life, and the following statistics are provided by the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA): Approximately 10% of reports received by BUFORA contain insufficient information to be suitable for further examination.

A further 10% relate to paranormal events not involving anything that would be classed as a UFO. Another 70% of raw UFO reports can, after careful investigation, be reasonably explained as misidentifications of man-made or natural phenomena. However, this still leaves 10% of investigated reports that can be filed as UFO sightings. For further information about UFOs, I would recommend the BUFORA web site.
