I'm very much into music. I'm a fan of all styles of music.
I like SKA, Alternative, Rock, Rap, ect. I like it all.
If it sounds good I like it.
I am a huge fan of THE URGE .
If you don't know, THE URGE is a band from St. Louis that
I have become a die hard fan of since moving to Stl in 1994.
The URGE mix a variety of different music. From Reggae/ska/funk/punk/rock/alternative/heavy/rap/soul/blues ect.
They have been said to sound like
Rage Against the Machine
mixed with the Bosstones. I think there sound is unique.
I actually stumbled across THE URGE at a Pointfest concert.
Pointfest is a show put on by
105.7 the point a STL radio station
Also in the show was Matthew Sweet, The Ramones, Veruca Salt, The Dead Kenedys and
a host of other bands. When THE URGE took the stage, the crowd
went nuts. I was trying to figure out who the hell they were.
Before I knew it the whole lawn area of the ampitheater was a
mosh pit. It was awesome. Needless to say, since then I have
I became a fan. I have seen the several more times since then.
Perhaps the best show I have ever seen
was in Kenedey's on the Riverfront
in 1995. Steve Ewing was tearing up the house.
The whole band was awesome.
