Roadside Assistance Scene 55-60 Revised 2/14/00 81. Int. Officer 1's House-Living Room, continious He enters the room. Officer 1's Pov of the room is empty. He goes to the glass case, it is open, the stereo blasting. Officer 1 reaches out to turn it off. Extreme close up of the play button, blood is smeared on it. Officer 1's finger punches the stop button. Full Shot of the Living room. Everything is silent. Officer 1's pov as he looks at the couch. His jacket is there. He goes and grabs it reaching in for his gun. He tosses the coat back down, the gun is not there. He looks around the room, slightly scared. Lights starts to shine in from outside from head lights. He goes to the front door. END OF SCENE 81 82. Ext. Front of Officer 1's house, continious Officer 1 stands in his door way, trying to cover his eyes slightly. Shot of the front of the car as the lights shine brightly. The engine is idling. Officer 1 Get ouf of the car! Shot of the front of the car as the lights continue to shine. The engine continues to idle. He takes a step down the stairs, and then a slow cautious another step. Again the front of the car with the engine idling. He takes the last step down, and starts to slowly make it to the side of the car, out of the direct light of the car. In the drivers side of the car, there is a shape behind the wheel. Officer 1 takes a few steps forward to the car. He is slowly starting to bend forward. Officer 4's body propped behind the wheel is in the foreground, as Officer 1 reaches in, and checks Officer 4's pulse at the neck. He slowly starts to move back out of the window. Close up of Officer 1's face as he starts to debate what to do. Also a touch of fear as two people are dead, and he doesn't know who is the killer, or where his gun is.. Shot of the back seat of the car, The Dark One rises out of the back seat. Officer 1's frame can barely be seen just outside the driver's seat window. Officer 1 turns away from the driver's window, and starts to walk towards his car. Full shot from behind the stolen car as The Dark One is getting out of the car, quickly. The camera moves into over the Dark One's shoulder as he rushes Officer 1, Officer 1 turning after the sound of the door, and is now surpised momentarily by who he sees there. However, he turned to late, and had barely enough time to register it before The Dark One was upon him. Extreme Close up of the Dark One's eye. It's Melichous intent there. Extreme Close up of the mouth. A Melicious smile. The Dark One reaches down to the now dead Officer 1, and dips his fingers in Officer 1's blood. His head not in the shot. A shot of the Dark One's arm as he smothers the blood on his left arm. His right arm looks as though it already has some dried blood on it. Close up of the head light. The light dims inside of it, leaving that little after glow to fade out. FADE TO BLACK END OF SCENE 83 84. Inside Police Station-Outside Interrigation room, around 8 a.m. Captain So what did they have to hold this guy on? FADE IN FROM BLACK Officer in Blue stands near the captain. Officer 5 Not much. This guy's truck was linked with Jim's death. Captain Any chance that this is the guy? Officer 5 Maybe. There was an eye witness who said it wasn't. Also, ballistics have had a chance to go over the interior and found that it has been hotwired. Captain So it's probably not him. Officer 5 Like I said. Maybe. Captain Okay, drop the charges. Let him go, but keep his truck. Officer 5 walks away. FADE TO BLACK END OF SCENE 84 85. Outside Police Station, Near 11a.m. Long shot as Adam walks out of the police station. He walks to the sidewalk, and starts to walk north, away from the camera. A car moves into the foreground. The stolen one. It moves along slow watching Adam, and then hurries on. END OF SCENE 85 86. Ext. Inside Cameron's car, simultaneous. Cameron is behind the wheel, behind the stolen car. He isn't really watching the car though. He is looking off to the side at Adam who is walking. END OF SCENE 86 87. Ext. Outside Adam's Apartment. Minutes later. The Stolen car are in the foreground as Adam makes his way from the sidewalk to the front of the building. The camera pans to the parking lot, as Cameron pulls into one of the parking spaces. Cameron as he picks up from under his seat a gun. He checks and makes sure there is one bullet in there. He looks around the parking lot. Sees that the parking lot is almost empty. He stuffs the gun under his arm, and keeps his arm tight against it to keep it in place. Then he opens the door, and starts to make his way around to the front of the apartment building. END OF SCENE 87 88. Int. Mailbox's of Apartment, continious Cameron looks at the name sheet, and runs his finger down. He finds what he needs, and turns to the door. A resident is on their way into the building. Cameron goes in to the apartment as the resident of the apartment building holds the door open for him. Cameron Thank you. He walks in, and goes to the elevator. He holds the door open for the resident. Close up of the elevator board. Cameron punches the six floor button. Cameron What floor? Resident Three Cameron then punches the three button. END OF SCENE 88 89. Int. Sixth Floor, minute later. Cameron emerges from the elevator, and starts to walk to the door. The camera starts to zoom into the stairs door that are behind Cameron. The door opens, and the greasy arm, and body of the dark one can be seen hurring to Cameron. Close up of Cameron, as The Dark One's right arm goes into a lock around Cameron's Throat, and his left arm cups over Cameron's mouth. Medium shot of the two bodies as they move back to the stairwell. They go in, and the door closes behind them. The camera stays on the closed door for nearly five seconds Then the door opens, and The Dark One emerges, his hands covered in blood, the shot cutting off his head. Medium shot of The Dark One's Arm as he walks to Adam's Apartment. END OF SCENE 89 90. Int. Adam's Apartment, a moment before Adam is standing near the aswering machine, listening as it tells him there are no new messages. He reaches for the remote, that is sitting on his computer desk, and stretches out his arm towards the camera to turn on the televiison. Then he turns on the computer. There is a knock at the door. He walks down the hall to open the door. On the door, the wood is written in blood. "Soon" Adam closes the door, and starts to turn away from the door, but stops suddenly. The Music starts to play from the stereo. The Dark One, from his legs. The camera slowly starts to rise, past the blood covered hands, up to his face. The face of Adam. The camera pulls into a profile shot, of Adam looking into the mirror. Close up of Adam/The Dark One's face. Adam slowly starts to smile, similar to that of Norman Bates ending scene in Psycho. CUT TO BLACK The End No Credits
