Butterscotch Pie
3 Tbsp. Flour
Pinch of Salt
1 Cup BrownSugar
3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
3 Cups Milk
Blend these ingredients
till smooth. Cook over low heat
till thick (When it
starts to boil)
approximately 1 1/2
hours.
Separate 4 egg yolks
and beat. Add to cooked pudding and cook two more minutes. Add 1
stick of real butter and 1 tsp. of vanilla.
Blend this mixture well and pour into a 9" baked pie crust. Cool
for at least three hours. May top with whipped topping of your choice.
( Or use egg whites
to prepare marangue, top, bake till golden before cooling)
Serve this to some
of your most favorite friends. (But keep the recipe very secret and
you'll always be invited to all the most
important parties.
