Sometimes the Sun Goes 'Round the Moon

Hey y'all! How's everyone doing? Good, good. Well, chicos and chicas, I have written a VERY short chapter fifteen, which means that I'll try to get the idea mechanisms working towards chapter sixteen a lot sooner. Any ideas? EMAIL ME! (I haven't a clue what the html code is to put a link to my email address...I'm sorry! My addie is I3wAyBaBy4@aol.com, though.)

Here's a little personal thing that I think some of you fellow fanfic authors, or even not authors, but just fans, should read. In case you all wondered, or even if you care, I'm fifteen years old, and not at ALL innocent in my thoughts. My male friends have told me many times over that I'm leaning towards having a sicker mind than they do (which is pretty difficult to do...TRUST me on that!). Anyway, what I am writing is not EXACTLY from my perspective in the way that I write from the perspective that the Hanson boys seem to have honestly had very few experiences with the opposite sex with the exception of their younger sisters and meeting fans at concerts. Still, in reality, I DO percieve them as open-minded and full of good intentions in ADDITION to the fact that they have had more experiences than I care to write, as I have hoped to have gotten my viewpoint across. Why, then, did I make this story rated PG (well, so far) with the exception of one semi-bad word in chapter 15? Well, to be honest, it's because I saw a little girl in the supermarket, not too long ago, wearing a Hanson shirt. I believe that older Hanson fans should set an example for the younger ones. The girl must have been about eight years old.

I worked this summer as a C.I.T. (counselor in training)at a camp consisting of almost sixty girls, ages eight to thirteen. Many of these girls look up to role models such as...Britney Spears. My all-time favorite person, she says, as her voice drips heavy with sarcasm. Britney Spears, while her voice is nothing without a synthesizer, is also a horrible role model, looks-wise. Her biggest fans are young girls and dirty old men. Should this way of dressing be promoted to young girls everywhere? Are we trying to return to our roots of wearing only a fig leaf or three? Don't get me wrong; I love revealing clothing, but when you see an eight year old in a tube top and miniskirt with boots to her knees walking with a friend wearing a belly shirt and short shorts, both girls with their legs freshly shaven, yet not even old enough to need a training bra, don't you see something severely wrong with that?

The point is, these girls do not need role models that encourage this kind of thing. They are exposed to it everywhere, but that doesn't mean it's right. We teenage girls are here to set examples for our younger sisters and others and promote positive thinking that DOESN'T include the idea of becoming a slut. So with that thought in mind, I write this for the eight year old wearing a Hanson shirt that reads fanfiction and still hasn't been corrupted, though that's difficult to find nowadays, and I write it as a message that you don't need to flaunt your body to fit in, and that sometimes, nice guys DON'T finish last. If you disagree with me, please feel free to email me with comments.

Well, here's the rest of the usual stuff...we still have the Surprise at Starbucks aka my buddy Jenna's Hanson encounter and also the OTHER Jenna's wonderful And the Band Played On for you to read:
