Mrs. Etta Mills, wife of Henry Mills, prominent farmer of the Green valley neighborhood, and a well known woman in this community passed away at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon after 36 years of residence in the Green Valley vicinity. Mrs. Mills was unusually popular in Clinton and was a member of the While Away Sewing circle of this city. She was 61 years of age at the time of her death.
Deceased was born on February 5, 1858, in Maroa, the daughter of Richard and Mathilda Lackey. On March 8, 1883, she was married to Henry Mills in Leroy and 36 years ago moved to the Green valley neighborhood which has since been their home. One son, Frank, with the husband survives. Mrs. Joseph Botkin now in Florida and Mrs. Thomas Chick of Texas are surviving sisters, Mrs. Mills attended the Green Valley church and was an active member of the parish.
The funeral arrangements have not been announced.

MILLS FUNERAL
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Henry Mills were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Universalist church with the Rev. M.G. Linton, pastor of the parish, officiating. Many friends and relatives of deceased were present. L. J. Samuel, Dickerson Wood, William Gentry, Ira Pollock, William Meachum and L.L. Douglas were pall bearers. Internment was made in Woodlawn cemetery.
