HENRY MILLS, 73, DIES; FUNERAL WEDNESDAY
Henry Mills, aged 73, passed away at the family home, one and a half miles north of Jenkins Switch, Sunday afternoon at 4:30, following a two week illness. Death resulted from a paralytic stroke.
The late henry Mills was born near Jenkins Switch, April 13, 1857, the son of John and Talitha Mills, both of whom preceded him in death.
The deceased was a prominent farmer of the Jenkins Switch locality, living in that neighborhood his entire life.
He leaves one son, Frank Mills, at the family home, two sisters, Mrs. B.C. Sprague, and Mrs. J. Howard McKinney, both of this city, and seven grandchildren to mourn his loss. His wife, Mrs. Etta Mills preceded him in death, dying in 1913.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian church Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. H.B. Wheaten, officiating. Burial will be made in Woodlawn cemetery. The body was taken to Reeser's funeral home and prepared for burial.
