SOUL MATES... Is a crew that originated from the masterminds of such names of people like Marcus Watkins, Adrienne Wilson, Coretta Brown, and Utel. It all started off on August 15th, 1997 with a small family oriented event entitled "Ecstacy." This event had a total of a little over 400 people. Though there was tough competition that night with another event entitled "Invasion," we still fought it through and it came out to be a very successful event. From there came SOUL MATES.SOUL MATES have since grown to be a very well recognized family / crew. We've had influences from such crews as: Soul Foundation, HPS, Vibe Alive, FSK, Undaground Revolution, Vibe Heavy Productions, Simple, and Inkline. Though we throw smaller events, we are known for our big large vibes that we present to the scene. It has been said that SOUL MATES throw "the small raves of the scene." We are very proud of our tradition and history. The support of all Chicago massive have brought such success to, "All in the Family," "Groove Sensation," "Ecstasy 2," "Raw Elements," etc... They have all been phenomenal events and we want to send thanks to each and every one of you. We hope to continue to bring you high quality low cost events in the future. However we need your continuing full support.Our ultimate goal is to bring a said "dying Chicago scene," alive again. We feel the only way to achieve this is through JACK!!!. For all the non-believers we will look past you and use your negativity as a positive great war weapon. As a final thought I would like to give a word of advice, "Work as hard as you play."
LONG LIVE JACK"In the beginning, there was JACK and JACK has a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And then one day while viciously throwin' down on his box, Jack rose and declared, "Let there be House," and House Music was born. I am 'ya see, I am the CREATOR, and "this" is My House. And in My House, there is "only" House Music. But I am not so selfish, because once you enter My House, then it becomes "our" House and Our House Music. And every House, you understand, has a keeper. And in this House, the keeper is Jack.
