These are some books I have read recently as well as some of my favorite books.

If you are not sure whether or not it makes sense to believe in God this book by Peter Kreeft is for you. This book examines the Pensees written by Blaise Pascal, the brilliant mathematician, scientist and inventor who lived in the 1600's. Without relying on Scripture this book will show why this brilliant man became convinced that not only was faith in God essential for finding true happiness, but that believing in God is also logical and rational.

In "More Than a Carpenter" the focus is on mathematical probabilities and historical facts for "proof" of who Jesus of Nazareth was and why His life had such a profound effect on human history. Good book for someone unfamiliar with or doubtful of what the Bible means. It is a hard-headed book for people who are skeptical about Jesus' deity, his resurrection, his claims on their lives.

This book compiles the most compelling and thought-provoking stories of conversion I have ever read. For those who passionately believe in 'sola fide', 'sola scriptura' this book will rattle your foundation for sure!

These books talk about what is going on in a woldwide view and how this fits into the warnings and messages that have been recieved from various apparition sites starting with Guadalupe down to Medjugorje.

In this work of Catholic apologetics, Karl Keating makes a defense of Catholicism against the critical attacks of Protestant fundamentalists.

Sensible and concise, witty and wise, the authors offer compelling arguments for and defenses of every aspect of Christian belief, including faith and reason, God's nature, creation and evolution, providence and free will, miracles, the problem of evil, the Bible's historical reality, Christianity and other religions, and objective truths.

This book is a compilation of stories from women of the "baby-boom" generation who struggled with the emptiness and lack of fulfillment they found in their "successful" modern lives and how they discovered true peace and contenment by returning to their Catholic faith.

This was the book that brought me home! I was away from the Church for over 20 years and yearning for meaning and peace in my life. I found this book on "accident" and read it. Having been born into the faith I was astounded by how little I knew about Catholicism... It took this former Evangelical Prostestant minister to open my eyes to the beauty and truth of the Catholic Church.

Scott Hahn brings salvation history to life for non-Catholics and Catholics alike. By focusing on our status as part of the family of God, he shows how the broken human family is made whole in Christ. This book helps readers understand the deep personal love God bears for his people and the plan that He has to bring them into an intimate family relationship.
