Moliannu'r Arglwydd da iawn yw

Moliannu'r Arglwydd, da iawn yw,
  A chyfarch Duw yn benaf;
A chanu i dy enw fawl,
  A'th ganmawl y Goruchaf.

Y cyfiawn a flodeua i'r nen,
  Fel y balmwydden union;
Yn iraidd yn cynnyddu y bydd,
  Fel cedrwydd yn Libanon.

Y rhai a blanwyd yn nhŷ Duw
  Yn goedwydd byw y tyfant;
Ac yn nghynteddoedd ein Duw ni,
  Y rhei'ny a flodeuant.

A dwyn eu ffrwyth a wnant o faint,
  Yn amser henaint etto:
Tirfion, iraidd, a phorfadwy,
  A fyddant hwy yn hilio.

gwelir:
  Blodeua'r cyfiawn tua'r nen
  Gwaith hyfryd iawn a melus yw
  Molianu Duw sydd hyfryd waith
  Y rhai a blannwyd yn nhŷ Dduw

To praise the Lord, is very good,
  And greet God chiefly;
And sing to thy name praise,
  And to extol thee the Most High.

The righteous shall flourish to the sky,
  Like the straight palm tree;
Freshly growing he shall be,
  Like the cedars in Lebanon.

Those who were planted in God's house
  As living trees they shall grow;
And in the courts of our God,
  Those shall flower.

And bring their fruit they shall of right,
  Still in the time of old age:
Luxuriant, fresh, and providing grazing,
  They shall be, begetting offspring.

 1 How good and pleasant must it be 
     to thank the Lord most high;
   And with repeated hymns of praise 
     his Name to magnify.

12 But righteous men, like fruitful palms, 
     shall make a glorious show;
   As cedars that in Lebanon
     in stately order grow.


13 These, planted in the house of God, 

     within his courts shall thrive;

14 Their vigor and their luster both

     shall in old age revive.
