My oldest known ancestor in the SLOAN family is John SLONE 1778-1831, he was married
in Patrick Co., VA to Sarah HENRY 1780-1838.
For a descendant report on this family or to view other family members,
They resided briefly in Floyd Co., KY, then are in Gallia Co., OH, at least by 1806. Some of their descendants remained in
Gallia and Lawrence Counties of Ohio. Some went to Illinois. My ancestor, and their son William SLONE 1801-1880,
moved to Madison Co., IN in 1837.
