Consentual: An activity done with the agreement between Master/Mistress and sub/slave
Contract: A written and negotiated agreement between Master/Mistress and sub/slave
Cross Dressing: One who dresses in the clothing of the other gender
Discipline: Training by a Dominant in how they wish their submissive to behave
Do me bottoms: People who will let just about anyone do them in a scene
Dom: A Dominant person who is engaged in a relationship with a sub within boundaries and time frame
Dominant: A person who controls other(s) or directs scenarios
Dominatrix: A professional female who participates in BDSM for money

Protocol: The rigid code of etiquette prescribing the form and procedures for various ceremonies and social functions
Red: A common safe word used to stop all action completely and immediately (actually...my personal favorite is "mercy"...~giggle~)
Rimming: A slang term for anilingus
Sadist: A person who receives psychological and or sexual pleasure from giving pain or discomfort
Sadomasochism: The dynamics of power and powerlessness
Safe Words: Words not used in everyday conversation to express certain conditions
Scene: People who interact with others in the S & M or the B & D lifestyle
Slave: A submissive person who wears the collar (physically and/or symbolically) of a Dominant on a full time basis

Sub: A person who is a submissive

Switch: One who can be Dom or sub...Top or bottom
Time Out: A safe word used to indicate negotiation is needed
Top: Slang for a person in the BDSM lifestyle who controls a scene
Transexual: A person who has had a sex change
Transvestite: A male who enjoys projecting a female persona
Twinkies: People who associate but are clueless to the BDSM scene...LOL! (those full of fluff)
Vanilla: People who do not understand/practice or follow BDSM protocol or those not associated with the lifestlyle
Worship: To adore another or a specific instructed area
