2023 INFORMATION
          updated 10.01.23

Hello to all and welcome to the upcoming 2024 season! The Fort Wayne Volleyball Club, located in northeastern Indiana, was founded in 1987 with nine players and one team. As we enter our 38th year the programs goal is to give all participants an opportunity to increase their skills; train hard; have fun; learn what is required to be part of a committed hard working team; make new friends; and pursue college scholarships. We welcome players from all ages and all levels of experience.

Our goal is to make the sport of volleyball accessible and affordable to all players interested in becoming better players and training at a high level. We began in 1987 with one team. 10 years later we had over 300 players and gained National Championship Titles. Travel was often and hotels became a common weekend stay. Over time the cost continued to rise creating an opportunity for only those who could afford the price and time commitment that goes along with that schedule. Todays cost for that would be $3000-$5000 dollars.

Our club today is different. We do not have a large training center nor any full time employees. By design we cap our membership at approximately 95 players total. Ten teams with around 8-9 players per team. We offer two practices a week and play in one/two tournaments a month on Saturday or Sunday (Jan-May). Our elementary age training players have no weekend commitment. No overnight travel is involved with any of our teams. Our travel teams participate in one day events. The winter/spring season concludes in mid May. We have one of the strongest veteran coaching staff of any program in our area. Our players have the opportunity to learn proper skill technique and game strategies from the best. Sportsmanship and respect are a priority. All of this for $895 dollars total ($600 for elementary twice a week training / $300 for once a week training). This includes uniforms, equipment, insurance, court time, and coaches stipend.
