Zech Olso
If there is only one thing to be said about Zech, it is that he has the heart of a hero. Zech was born one one of the countless self sufficent worlds in the expansion region, that had little to offer to the rest of the galaxy in way of commerce. Zech never knew his parents, all he knew as a child was the orphanage and the strict governess who ran it. At the age 15 discontent with life in the orphange he ran away and lived on the streets. Zech discovered that there were several young children living on the streets who didn't have much of a chance. He tried to take care of them by picking pockets, breaking and entering, and other small crimes. He never took more that needed, though. When he wasn't stealing or avoiding the police, Zech was at the starport watching the ships take off and land. It was on one of those days when he was walking back to the abandon building he called home that he by accident walked onto a scene where stormtroopers had a man pinned in an alley. Sensing that the man was good he helped him by tackling two of the stormtroopers, this gave the rebel operative just the window he needed. The rebel's name was Grod and he offered to take Zech with him. Zech quickly said yes. Zech learned to fly and became quite good at it in just a short time. He also became a member of Grod's special operative group. Zech found himself falling in love with one of the other members, a young human female named Natalia. The decided that as soon as the war was over they would get engaged. The rebel alliance asked Grod and his group to work in Kroutrak sector and surrounding areas. While following the lead from a rebel cell on Miti'opop they broke into an ISB branch office. However, a trap was set because a member of the rebel cell was an informant. The trap was executed almost perfectly. Only Zech and Natalia escaped, but Natalia was shot during the escape and died in Zech's arms. Zech overwelmed with grief stumbled into a bar and got a drink, but never actually drank it he just sat there lost in his own thoughts and remorse. He didn't even notice the monks walk in. However, he did here the stormtrooper say "Over there, get 'em". Zech thinking they meant him started running, the Shren'threl monks thinking they meant them started running. They introduced themselves to each other. Zech agreeded to transport the monks around, if the monks would help him get to his ship. They did and Zech is now with the Shren'threl monks, with hopes of eventually being able to get back in touch with the rebel alliance.
