After a little while, the limo pulled up by the curb and stopped. The driver got out and opened the door. The guys climbed out, so that they could help us out. My father helped my mother out. My adoptive dad helped my adoptive mother out. Brian gave me a hand at getting out of the limo. He offered his arm to me again and we linked arms as the seven of us entered the restaurant. It turned out to be a really nice Italian Restaurant. When we entered, I saw four people, three guys and one woman, standing there. The tallest of the guys walked over to us and I noticed that he was like at least three inches taller than me and Brian, had black hair, and green eyes, so I figured it was Kevin. "Hey Kev," Brian said to him, our arms still linked together. "Hey cuz," Kevin replied to him while he looked at me. "Brianna?" "Yes, that be me cuz." I answered in a cheerful voice. Brian and I unlinked arms and I held my arms open, hoping to get a hug from Kevin. Kevin embraced me in a hug. "Brianna, you look a lot like your brother here." He said to me. "I know. I hear that a lot cuz." I replied. "Can you please introduce me to the rest of my cousins and my aunt now?" "Sure," he said. He walked over to where his brothers and mother were standing and I followed. "Brianna, this is your aunt Ann, your cousin Gerald, and your cousin Tim," he said as he pointed to each of my two cousins. Brian walked up to the reception desk and told them that we had a reservation under the name of Littrell-Richardson for a party of 11. She grabbed 11 menus and told us to follow her. She showed us to a table.
**Chapter 12**During dinner, I got to know my true family more and more. I found out things about everyone that I had never imagined being very true before. It was so awesome to find my true family, and even to find out a lot about them, even though I had never once believed that I was adopted, considering the fact that I figured that I had inherited most of my traits from my (adoptive)father. He was about 5’7" with blondish-brown (or chestnut) hair and blue eyes just like me, which was something people loved about me when they saw me. I was always told that I had the same features as Brian and that I could even be related to him, like his twin even. I never believed it though. It felt so great to get to know some of my extended family as well as my regular family. I couldn’t believe how much I actually had in common with Brian. I figured that we didn’t have as much in common as it turned out that we did. When you look at Brian and I, you could think that we are twins due to the fact that we look soo much alike. We share a common fear of heights and a love for basketball. We both love Boyz II Men, pizza, macaroni and cheese, Iced Tea, Tom Hanks, and Jim Carrey. I had asked Brian how much he weighed and it even turned out that we weighed the same.
**Chapter 13**After dinner, we headed out of the restaurant to get back into the limos. We had agreed to meet up at an upscale New York Ice Cream Parlor for some dessert. Seven of us climbed into one of the limos and the other 4 climbed into the other limo. In 15 minutes, we had reached the Ice Cream Parlor and climbed out. We went in all together as one big group and each of us ordered something that we really wanted. They took seats after getting what they wanted, had their ice cream and chatted. Kevin, Brian, and I took seats at one of the tables together. They started talking to me and catching me up on the family history. Everything that they told me was amazing stuff. I couldn’t believe all of the stuff that had happened to our family in the 16 years that I had lived. Brian explained all about his health problems that he had struggled with to me. I realized that I might be living with the same health problems as he had and not even know it. I figured that I would have to talk to my mother (Jackie) about it. I wasn’t too worried about it though, due to the fact that if one problem was to come up, it would probably have arisen by now even though I knew that Brian had been born with an undiagnosed murmur and a hole in his heart. Brian must have known what I was thinking because of what he said next to me. "Brianna, don’t worry. There isn’t a history of heart problems in the family, so I don’t think it is possible that you have it too." Brian said. "But Brian, we are soo much like, that it could be possible." I replied. "True. Mom has already scheduled you to be seen by a cardiologist anyway, just to be on the safe side. It is one of the ones that I had, so it isn’t a big deal. I plan on going with you anyway, so don’t worry." Brian stated. "Thanks for reassuring me Brian." I said.
**Chapter 14**After finishing up our ice cream, we headed out of the Ice Cream Parlor. We broke into two groups again. Seven of us; my adoptive parents, the Littrells, and I climbed into one of the limos. The Richardsons climbed into the other limo. Kevin reminded Brian and I, as we climbed into the limo, that he would be at our hotel at 10 to go and hang out in New York City. I couldn’t wait because I remembered that we were going to go and hang out in Times Square during TRL. Everyone got into the limo and the driver shut the door. The driver climbed in, started up the limo, and pulled out of the parking lot. Soon, we were on our way back to our hotel. I decided that I was going to take another shower when we got back so that I would be clean for tomorrow. "Brian, what should I wear tomorrow?" I asked. "Well, it is supposed to be warm tomorrow, so you might want to wear a tank-top and a pair of shorts or a pair of capris." Brian answered. "Ok," I replied. A few minutes later, the limo pulled up to our hotel. The driver got out and opened the door. The guys climbed out first. Harold (my father) helped Jackie (mother) out. My adoptive father offered his hand and helped my adoptive mother out. Brian offered me his hand and he helped me out of the limo. Once I was outside of the limo, Brian put his arm around me and we walked into the hotel together with our family. When we got in, Brian and I both got the urge to sing and play the piano, so we went up to the front desk and asked if we could play the piano that they had in their lobby. They said we could, so we walked over to the piano and sat down on the bench together. "Want to play first and both of us sing?" Brian asked me. "Sure. "That’s What She Said"?" I replied. "Sure, that was what I was thinking that we should do." Brian answered. I stretched my fingers and went right into the intro. for "That’s What She Said." As soon as the intro. ended, we went right into the song, our voices mixing and sounding harmonious together. Brian seemed surprised at first, but as the song progressed he was fine with it because I am sure he figured that it was natural since I am a Littrell. We finished the song and I got up because I was going to sing by myself this time. "What song?" Brian questioned. "Hero by Mariah Carey." I replied. He nodded as he began the intro. to the song. The intro. finished and as I took a deep breath, the actual song began. I started into the song with great force. I looked over at Brian as I sang, and I saw a shocked look on his face. I realized that he couldn’t believe that I had such a powerful voice. Soon, I finished the song as Brian played the last few chords. As soon as he was done, he took his hands off the piano and applauded me. I just stood there and smiled, not knowing what to think. We decided to go up to our rooms, so that we could shower and relax before going to bed, since we had to get up at a decent hour considering the fact that Kevin would be at the hotel at 10. We got up and walked up to our rooms. I went, took a shower, and changed into my pajamas, which consisted of a tank-top and a pair of boxers. I set my alarm and then climbed into bed.
**Chapter 15**The next morning, I awoke to the sound of an alarm blaring. I turned it off and then got up out of bed. I grabbed my brush off of my dresser and quickly brushed my hair. I put my slide sandals onto my feet and grabbed my room key. I walked out of the room, making sure not to close the door too loud. I walked down to the little restaurant that they had in the hotel because we had eaten breakfast there yesterday morning and my adoptive mom said that I could come and grab breakfast here by myself today. I walked in. The hostess saw me. "How many?" She asked. "Just one," I replied. "Smoking or Non?" she questioned. "Non," I answered. "Follow me," she said. I followed her and soon I was seated at a one person booth. "Your server will be right with you." The hostess said before she walked away. I gave the menu a once over before I decided what I wanted to have. "Hi, I am Jen. I will be your server today." The waitress said, standing next to me. "What would you like?" "Can I get a cup of coffee, an egg and cheese omelet, and white toast?" I said. "Sure. Is that all?" she asked. "Yes," I said as I handed her my menu. She took a good look at my face and then walked away. A few minutes later, she came back with a cup of coffee, some cream, and some sugar for my coffee. "Did you know that you somewhat resemble Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys?" she asked as she set down the coffee and the stuff for it. "Yes, I do know that. I get that a lot actually, especially from people that I go to school with." I answered with a smile. She walked away.
