Chapters 61-65

**Chapter 61**

Within a little bit, Brian pulled into a parking lot, paid, and pulled into a spot and stopped. We climbed out and I grabbed my one strap bag out of the jeep and strapped it on before I closed my door. Once I closed my door, Brian locked and engaged the alarm on the jeep. We walked around to find a security guard as Brian handed me an envelope that contained three things. I looked inside the envelope and found a ticket, a sticker, and an all-access backstage pass. I slipped my all-access pass around my neck, stuck the sticker onto my halter top, and then put the ticket in my left jean pocket. After I had done that, Brian handed me two cd booklets and a permanent marker. I slipped the permanent marker into my right jean pocket and kept the two cd booklets in my hand. I followed Brian as he found a security guard and started talking to him for a minute. “Follow me Brianna,” Brian said as he followed the security guard inside. “Ok,” I said as I followed Brian. We were led to a room and walked in. We took seats in a couple of the empty seats in the room. A few minutes later, the two guys of Savage Garden as well as Robbie Williams entered the room. We were allowed to ask questions before we would be able to get in line and get autographs. I listened as questions were asked. After a little while, the question and answer session ended and we were told to form a line to get autographs. Brian and I got up and got into the line. Luckily we were one of the first people in line. I asked Darren if I could have a hug. He stood up and gave me a hug and then I handed the Savage Garden CD booklet to him. He signed it as I got a hug from Daniel. Just as we broke the hug, Darren passed the booklet to him. He signed it and then handed it back to me. I walked over to Robbie and asked, “Robbie may I have a hug and may I get a picture with you?” “Sure sweetie,” he said as he noticed me backstage pass. He took my cd booklet first, signed it, and gave me the booklet back. He then motioned for me to come to his side of the table. I walked over to his side of the table and he gave me a hug as Brian took a picture of us hugging. After we released from the hug, Robbie put his arm around me and I held out the cd booklet as Brian snapped another pic. After that picture, I thanked Robbie. “You are very welcome. I will see you later since of that,” he said as he motioned to the all-access backstage pass I had around my neck. “Yup. Bye,” I said as we walked out.

**Chapter 62**

We had hung out with Robbie for a bit backstage after we had been allowed to re-enter the Rupp Arena. About 5-10 minutes before the opening act was to go on stage, Brian and I said good-bye to Robbie and went to find our seats. I followed Brian as he led us to our seats. It turned out that our seats were in the front row, center seats, center section. “OMG Brian. These seats are amazing!” I stated with a huge smile on my face as I dug my camera out of my bag and made sure that I had my two cd booklets that I had gotten autographed not long ago. I stuffed my camera into my right pocket for the time being as I took my seat. The lights dimmed as the time for the opening act to come on got one minute. The music to a somewhat familiar song began as the lights brightened on the stage. “I like, I like I like I like I like, My dreams are now reality, Each and every time you are here with me, A touch you give me with you hand, You caress my skin I'm under your command, Girl you hypnotize me with you eyes, It took me some time buy now I realize, It’s you to who and which I belong, I love it the feeling's getting strong.” The guys sang. As I listened to this, I realized who these guys were. “Brian, know who these guys are?” I whispered to my brother as I snapped a few pictures of these guys for my collection. “No, who are they?” he whispered back. “They are C-Note. They are a ‘Latin’ boyband from Orlando, FL.” I replied. “Ah,” he said as they continued. The time passed quickly and before I knew it, Dru was saying something. “Well guys, it sure has been fun, but we are going to sing one last song and then let them set the stage for Savage Garden. So if you like what you have heard tonight, go out and pick up our cd. Here is our song ‘Wait Till I Get Home’.” Dru said. The music for ‘Wait Till I Get Home’ started and I got up, grooved and sang along as they performed the song. As the song finished, they bowed and then ran off the stage. The lights in the Arena came back up as crew members walked onto the stage to set up for Savage Garden.

**Chapter 63**

A half an hour later, the lights dimmed again as the crowd let out a scream. We were in the silence and darkness for about a minute before we heard the beginning to a song. The lights came on onstage as Darren began to sing the beginning lyrics to the song. “We were standing all alone, You were leaning in to speak to me, Acting like a mover shaker, Dancing to Madonna then you kissed me, And I think about it all the time, Sweet temptation rush all over me, And I think about it all the time, Passion desire so intense I can't take anymore because,” Darren sang as I recognized the song as ‘Chained To You’. I sang along and grooved in between snapping pictures of Darren and Daniel as they performed. Darren saw me standing in the front row, dancing and smiled at me. As he finished the song, he said, “Hello all, if you don’t know, I am Darren and I am one half of Savage Garden and the guy closest to me on my left is Daniel and he is the other half of Savage Garden. That song was ‘Chained To You’ and the next song we are going to do is sort of a story in song form. Here is ‘Two Beds and a Coffee Machine’.” I grinned and looked over at Brian, who seemed to be having fun too. I partied along to all of the songs they performed throughout their set, inbetween snapping many pictures. I think I went through about two rolls by the time they had finished their set, which had ended with ‘I Knew I Loved You’. When they had left the stage, the lights came on and the crew came on the stage, wiped it down and started to set it up for Robbie Williams.

**Chapter 64**

About 45 minutes later, the lights dimmed for hopefully the last time and the crowd let out a HUGE scream. We had to sit, or stand in my case, for about a minute in the darkness, before the lights came on onstage. The lights came on as the band started playing the music to ‘Lazy Days’. Just as the intro. To the song was ending, Robbie Williams appeared on stage as all the females in the audience screamed. “Lazy days calling to you, Come out to play, The future lies with you, Now you can be sure love is the cure, What we’re searching for, Is to have a jolly good time,” Robbie sang as the audience erupted into more screams. I snapped a few pictures inbetween singing along to the song. I saw Robbie wink at me, which made me think that he had some sort of plan for me later on in the show. About half-way through his set, Robbie stopped for a minute. He pulled off his jacket and took a quick drink of water before going up to the mic stand and pulling it off of the stand. “Hello folks, glad to see that you all are enjoying yourselves so far tonight. Before I do my next song, I want to get someone up on stage with me,” he said as a stool was brought onstage. He motioned to the security guard and pointed at me. The security guard came over and asked me to follow him. We walked up to the stage and he lifted me up onto the stage. Robbie took my hand and led me to the stool as he said, “This young lady here is the sister to someone that I know through the music business. She has been going through a lot in the past two months and according to her brother that brought her here, she is his angel and I agree with him. This song is for her, it is ‘Angels’.” As he finished, I took a seat on the stool and the band started to play the music to ‘Angels’. Robbie put the mic back in the stand and brought them over to where I was sitting and placed it down as he began to sing. “I sit and wait, Does an angel contemplate my fate, And do they know, The places where we go, When we’re grey and old, ‘Cos I’ve been told, That salvation lets their wings unfold, So I’m lying in my bed, Thoughts running through my head, And I feel that love is dead, I’m loving angels instead,” he sang to me. When he had finished the song, he embraced me in a hug and gave me a kiss on each cheek and then leading me to where the security guard was standing to help me off the stage. I was helped off and I went back to Brian, who had a smile on his face. I gave him a kiss and thanked him before turning my attention back to the concert.

**Chapter 65**

About 45 minutes later, Robbie was nearly finished with the concert. He finished the song ‘Jesus in a Camper Van’ and took a quick breather before speaking. “Well folks, I truly hoped that you enjoyed the show. Now, I am going to sing one last song for you guys. Here is a little song called ‘Millennium’.” He stated. He stepped back and stood in the center of the stage with the mic in his hand as the band kicked into ‘Millennium’. “We've got stars directing our fate, and we're praying its not too late, Millennium. Some say that we are players, some say that we are pawns, but we've been making money since the day that we were born, then slow down before we fall down.” Robbie sang out, his voice filled with emotion. As he finished the song, he bowed and said, “Thank you all for coming. Have a good night and drive safely.” He then proceeded to leave the stage. Brian grabbed my hand and we walked backstage to hang out with Robbie and the guys of Savage Garden for a few minutes. We walked back and showed our passes before being escorted to a room, where Robbie and the guys of Savage Garden were waiting for us. “Great show you guys,” I said as I entered the room, with Brian following close behind me. Darren smiled and said, “Glad you liked it Brianna.” “Robbie, thank you for what you did for me tonight, that was amazing.” I stated. “You are welcome sweetheart, but you should really be thanking your brother.” Robbie replied. “Why?” I questioned. “Well, it was his idea after all,” Robbie stated. I turned to my brother and asked, “Is this true Brian?” “Yes, Brianna,” Brian replied. “Thank you so much Brian. I love you and am glad to have you for a brother.” I stated as I hugged him. We hung out with them for a bit long, until their managers said it was time for them to go to the hotel, so we said our good-byes, took a couple more pictures and then left. Brian and I walked out to his jeep and got in. He pulled out of the parking lot and we headed for home.
