**Chapter 81**
The next morning, I awoke to the sun streaming in through my window. I looked and saw that BJ was still asleep. I quietly got up and walked into the bathroom. I used the toilet, washed my hands, and brushed my teeth to get rid of my morning breath. After I had done that, I grabbed the baby blue bandanna off the hook that I keep it on and put it on over my hair and made sure that it was perfect. As long as my messy hair was covered, I didn’t care how it looked. When I had finished, I walked out of the bathroom and out of my bedroom, quietly shutting the door behind me as I left. I quietly went downstairs and walked into the kitchen. “Hey Bri,” Aaron and Angel said to me. “Hey you two, sleep well?” I said. “Yes, we did,” they replied in unison. When they did that, a smile played upon my lips. “Nick was up earlier and he mentioned that you sang for them last night. Will you sing for us?” Aaron begged me. “Of course I will sweetie,” I replied with a smile, “I was planning on singing for you guys anyways.” “Cool.” Aaron responded, “when?” “How about a little later, so that other people can wake up and so that we can all have a chance to get dressed. I mean, if you want me to perform like I did last night, then you need to give me a chance to get into my performance outfit.” I said. “Ok, I can wait,” said Aaron. “Me too,” said Angel. “Good, because I need BJ to help me with my hair for the performance and she is still asleep. I don’t want to wake her.” I responded with a sincere look on my face so that they would take that as a hint not to go and wake up BJ.
Chapter 82A couple of hours later, BJ had finally gotten up. Aaron and Angel had waited patiently for her to get up. When she had finally came down, they rejoiced in seeing her up and about. After she had been up for a bit and had a chance to eat, she and I went up to my room so that I could change and get ready to perform for everyone today, not just the adults. I quickly pulled my outfit on and then took a seat on the toilet in the bathroom, so that BJ could fix my hair. Within a few minutes, my hair was finished and I got up. I took a look in the mirror as I lightly applied some make-up to my face. When I finished doing my make-up, I let BJ give me a once over look for her approval. “Looks good,” she said with a smile on her face. BJ and I left the bathroom and walked back into my bedroom. I didn’t have my shoes on yet, but I walked over to my bed and grabbed the shoes I needed and put them on. After I put my shoes on, BJ and I left my room and headed down the stairs to get the kids so that we could all go out to the backyard so that I could perform for them. “Hey Aaron, Angel, Leslie,” BJ and I said as we walked into the room. “Hey BJ. Brianna is that you?” Aaron said. “Yes it is me Aaron. You guys ready to go outside so you can see me perform?” I stated. “Yes,” all three responded as they jumped out and ran towards the backdoor. BJ and I followed them slowly.
**Chapter 83**When BJ and I reached the backyard, the kids were already standing around the mini-stage that was still set up from the night before. I went and walked up to the stage. As soon as I got to the stage, I walked behind the curtains of the stage and found my mic that was still there from the night before. While I was getting ready, BJ went and made sure that the CD player was still hooked up before putting the CD in. As soon as the CD player was ready and I had my cordless mic in hand, I walked out onto the stage and got set in position. When BJ saw that I was ready, she started the music for the song. The music started and I went into it with tons of emotion and energy, pushing myself to the limits to be as good as I could for the kids. When the song ended, I stopped in my ending pose and tried to catch my breath. The kids were clapping like crazy because they really liked it a lot. I stepped off the stage and they all surrounded me to hug me. After that, we all headed in and they packed while I showered and changed into something clean and comfortable. I came downstairs wearing a baby blue bandeau top with a pair of A-line denim jeans. Brian and my parents were saying good-bye to the guests that were leaving. I joined them in saying good-bye to the Carters and the Richardsons, but Brian whispered that I had just missed saying good-bye to the Doroughs and the McLeans. After the two families had pulled out of our driveway and left, my mom shut the door and we went and cleaned up the house from the party that we had last night. It took forever, but we were able to get it all done and clean in one day. The only thing still up was the stage, but my dad and Harold said that they would take care of that. I went up stairs to take a nap.
**Chapter 84**Two days had passed since the big gathering. I was sitting at my computer in my room, concentrating on a story that I was writing. Actually there were even a couple versions to this story that I was writing, a couple were fan fiction versions in which I had changed some things around to make them apply to a group, however, this was not that version. This version is one that I am trying to finish to attempt to get it published. I had been working on it for two hours, including using the Internet to search for some factual information to use in the story. All of a sudden, I though that I had heard the phone rang, but I ignored it and continued working on my story. “Brianna come downstairs, the phone is for you,” I heard my mom calling. “OK mom, be down in a second,” I yelled as I saved what I had been working on. As soon as I was sure that it had been saved, I ran downstairs and picked up the phone. “Hello,” I said into it. “Hi, Brianna?” the voice on the other end questioned. “Yes,” I stated. “Hey, its Christina Aguilera,” the person said. “Oh hi Christina,” I replied. “What’s up?” “Oh not much. Your brother called Justin Timberlake yesterday and mentioned about you possibly singing at half-time.” She said. “Oh he did, did he?” I stated. “Yes,” she replied. “Well, the thing is that they had already asked me to perform at half-time, but Justin thought why not have to females performing together, so he called me and gave me your number to call you and talk to you about performing with me.” she stated matter-o-factly. “Oh, I like that idea.” I responded. “Cool,” She replied, “what songs do you think that we should do?” “I definitely think Genie In A Bottle, Reflection, and Blessed.” I stated. “OK, cool. Well, I will let you go and I will call you again in a couple of days so that we can arrange a time to meet up and work on the songs.” Christina said before we hung up. Right after I got off the phone, my mom came and said, “Come on Brianna. Its time for us to go because of your appointment.” “Ok Mom,” I said as I followed her out the door.
**Chapter 85**It was still light out when we finally came back from the cardiologist, but I was thoroughly exhausted and ready to go to sleep. I had to go through a lot at the cardiologist’s and it wore me out. Luckily, the doctor said he didn’t see anything wrong and I had nothing to worry about. I slowly went up to my room and immediately crashed on my bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.
**Brian’s Point Of View**I had heard mom and Brianna returning from the doctor’s in the late afternoon and was curious as to how everything went for her. I got up and went to talk to mom as I saw Brianna trudge up the stairs. “How did it go at her appointment mom?” I asked as I walked into the kitchen, where my mom was. “Oh everything went great sweetie,” she replied, “the doctor said that everything looks great and she is in perfect health for her age. There is nothing for her to worry about.” “That is great to know mom,” I said, “I am going to go up and check on her before I go out.” I headed out of the kitchen and headed up the stairs. I walked upto Brianna’s room, not long after she had gone up to her room. I slowly and quietly opened her door and peeked in. I saw her on the bed, sound asleep. She looks soo peaceful and soo innocent, but then again she is and always has been. She is such a trooper, especially with all that she has been through recently. I slowly and quietly closed the door and then headed back downstairs before going out to my car.
