Congrats from Ron Mitchell II in LaPorte Indiana. My family and I watched it all. Every match of the WWC. Even had two televisions going at one time. Every game is on tape! Sounds fanatic does'nt it? Not really. My family and I just really enjoy the game. I started playing at age 11 and have been for twenty years since. My father started at age 30 and we now share the same over 30 men's team. My brother aka "The Cannon" is my 24 year old goalie coach and is looking over my shoulder as I write this letter. Now at age 31 I can still smell the leather of my first soccer ball and remember the congrats I received from my coach for executing my first chip. It wasn't much higher than five feet and probably didn't travel much farther. But it was a start! From there it was off to travel teams, elite teams, club teams, and tournaments. We love the U.S. soccer program and our national representatives ie men, women, and the various developmental teams. Ladies we are extremely proud of you! As I expect is the rest of the U.S.. Back in the day my under 19 travel team gave out "THE GOLDEN JOCKSTRAP AWARD". To you women I award "THE GOLDEN SPORTSBRA AWARD". Just kidding. (that was for you Brandi if you are reading this) What a legacy you will leave behind. All of you. World champions! We look forward to Sydney and if you,d like to drop a note please feel free.
