Etched in gold
Multicolored
Maybe old?
It had one word
Etched on it’s side
Facing up
So as not to hide

Was the word it said

Like a child
A perfect world

And wide blue skies
A roaring ocean
A sandy beach
With ripe sweet fruit

Like diamonds on velvet
Stars blaze above

To the cooing of doves
The breeze soft and gentle
With the smell of fresh rain
We laughed as we drove
Down a small country lane.
Your hand clasped in mine
As we strolled through the woods.

As only you could
Enjoying the clouds
While laying down on a hill
Imagining shapes
As small children will
The smell of your perfume
The touch of your hair
The joy that you give me
By just being there
To you my love
I send this stone
So when I’m not there
